If you have no motivation, you have no path.
I found a long time ago that I used to have no motivation for anything and therefore I had no direction.
I had no outcome that I physically wanted to achieve in a particular situation because I wasn't really designing the outcome I wanted and wasn't really focused on the outcome.
I was focused on the activity that I was doing. Therefore, because I was focused on the activity I was doing but not the outcome I wanted, I tended not to get anything that I wanted out of what I was trying to achieve.
Now, because of that, I didn't get anywhere. And when I'm not getting anywhere, it's very hard to be motivated by anything.
So, eventually, what ended up happening was I ended up realizing that it was all about the outcome that I want to achieve. It's all about knowing that sales is important to me, knowing that this is what I'm going to achieve. Whether or not that truly happens or not is actually beside the point.
So the more belief in it, the more clarity of the path to get there that you'll have. It's actually really that simple. Your belief defines the clarity of the pathway. If you have no motivation, you have no pathway.
It's really important that you know what your outcome is in every situation but particularly when you walk into a sales meeting, it's paramount to design your outcome.
